Thank you for an amazing 2012!

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all you CCC readers out there! I only started my blog half way through 2012 and you guys have constantly supported me and read my posts. I couldn't have done any of this without you and I hope that you all continue to enjoy reading what I have to say!

I can't wait to see what 2013 has in store for us, and I hope that it will be just as good if not better than this year!

Beautiful bath bombs!

How beautiful are these flower cupcake bath bombs?! As soon as I unwrapped them on Christmas day, it reminded me of my post back in October about 'Food inspired by Fashion'. These may not be food, but it just goes to show how food can inspire Fashion and Beauty products. 

They smell absolutely gorgeous as well - think Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume mixed with Rose by Paul Smith (aka perfection). 

The pastel canvas creates an elegant appearance, finished off with exquisite flowers. Pink, purple and blue were all on the cards to make a relaxing, indulgent bath bomb, maximising your 'me' time as you soak up the hot steaming water, whilst they bubble around you. Dreamy.

Pastel Purple to defeat the Winter Blues

I love painting my nails, so when I do, there has to be some thought behind my choice of colour because your nails complete your whole look! So this time I chose the popular summer shade of the pastel purple to brighten up the dull winter that the UK seems to be having at the moment. 'Beautiful rain' isn't exactly the words I would use to describe the weather right now, but that's a different scenario.

I started off by using my Model's Own 'shape it buff it' nail file which features four sections: 1. even it, 2. smooth it, 3. buff it and 4. shine it. Combining all of these steps together, even me who isn't very talented when it comes to keeping my nails in tip top condition, makes me look like a professional (sort of).

I then went onto using a base coat with strong results to make sure that my nails don't become weak, and to also make certain that I never have the situation where my natural nails without nail varnish are like a rainbow because I forgot to put a base coat on them and then they became stained - oops.

Then it was time for the polish (again another area I am not so talented in), but my trick is to dip an ear bud in some nail polish remover and wipe away any mistakes that you might have made!

Maybe your thinking that it's too late to buy a winter coat seeing as we are already in the middle of the season, but we have been blessed with mild weather which can only mean one thing - the worst is yet to come. Be prepared with this navy, frilled hip, knee length beauty!

I practically live in jeans so I like to find ones that are different from others and that's exactly what these are. They come with a floral print embedded in the black material. They are ankle grazing which means they give you the opportunity to flaunt your heels - perfect.

The high heel can be the feature to boost your outfit by miles and that's what these coral stilletto's would do! The sandal design and slightly thicker heel than usual means that your feet are tightly secured, enabling you to be able to last longer without crippling!

If you have left it til the night before Christmas (well literally a matter of hours) to buy a gift, then it could turn into a mad panic! But don't worry, because the gift cards are always on hand - you decide how much money you want to put on your card and there are a variety in most stores (the two above are just examples), so you are able to freely choose your shop that you wish to purchase your gift card in. It saves you the hassle of choosing an item of clothing or what not and being unsure whether the receiver is going to like it or not, as with this gift, they have the freedom to purchase what they like, when they would like too!
