Paris Fashion Week!

New York Fashion Week, London, Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week have all come and gone, and now it's time for the city of love, Paris, to take to the stage! Since Paris Fashion Week begun on Tuesday, the world of fashion has seen the likes of Balenciaga, H&M, Balmain, Nina Ricci, Isabel Marant and Christian Dior to name a few, present their Autumn/Winter 2013-14 collections. Take a look at my favourite highlights so far:

H&M:

After an eight year break from the runway, H&M were ready to make a glorious comeback, and on the cards for achieving that was for everyone to have fun! From the audience to the models everyone was seen to be showing their cheeky and flirtatious side as the models strutted their stuff and posed for the cameras. The collection consisted of sharp tailoring, knee high boots, fluffy fur, black hats, studded leather shorts, floating maxi dresses, big and comfy knits and sheer embellished dresses with colours ranging from black, white, pink and brown.

Nina Ricci:

Red, black and white were the key colours for this dazzling collection from Nina Ricci! With a romantic feel, a showcase of skater skirts, slick slim fitted dresses, oversized coats, tailored trousers, and chic shirts and tops. Also seen on the runway was the use of a metallic silver to create a beautiful majestic look along with grey tweed, and large red, white and grey checkered patterns. The impeccable outfits were accessorised with heels following the same colour scheme of red, white and black, along with handbags and elbow length gloves.

Christian Dior:

Christian Dior was full of feminine shapes to enhance the women's silhouette through a variety of looks and styles! With a mix of stunning white strapless dresses with a beautiful detail of a women's face, glove and some pretty flowers followed by the likes of grey tweed, black leather, beaming bold red pieces, black and white patterns and baby pink, the key stand out for me was the delicate little animations seen on some items of clothing as it made the whole look elegant, chic and sophisticated.
