The latest from Milan Fashion Week!

Milan Fashion Week's spot light is slowing coming to a close as the time for the City of Love - Paris, to open it's doors to the world of fashion is about to open. But before all of that happens, let's take a look at some of my favourite highlights from the past few days:

Dolce and Gabbana:

Dolce and Gabbana pulled out a show stopper with their Autumn/Winter 2013-14 line up! The exquisite beading, luscious lace, and beautiful prints were out of this world! The show opened with bejewelled dresses, gold crowns and long dangling gold earrings. From thigh length to shin length, and breath taking mosasic prints, I didn't think they could beat it - this was until the rest of the line up was showed! Next saw looks including grey coats, jackets, skirts and dresses, followed by black lace. Then it was time for the return of the bejewelled gold, making the models looking like Queens. The impeccable show ended with a line up of black, white and red outfits, leaving the show on as big as a high as it started out with.

Giorgio Armani:

After showcasing an amazing show for Emporio Armani just the day before, it was now time for the designer to present his Giorgio Armani line up! This show was full of velvet, sequins and sparkles from blue to black and grey to white. The luxurious line featured fully embellished jumpsuits, exquisitely soft velvet maxi skirts and the smartest of blazers around oozing with style. To enhance the beautiful collection, a lot of shapes were used - ruffles, waves of material, pretty pleats and fabulous folds to create a beautiful silhouette!

Emilio Pucci:

I loved the full fringes and long wavy hairstyles that the models stepped onto the runway with! Thigh high boots in the colours of brown to black brought the line together as most of the looks were accessorised with these fashionable footwear! Belts were also used to clinch in the waists over patterned skirts and embellished blouses. A far as the colour palette goes, pinks, blues, blacks, whites, lilac and tans (browns) were all featured in the runway show. With a sixties feel about the show, it was fun, eye catching and beautifully stylish.
