Beauty trends in Paris Fashion week

Jean Paul Gaultier: http://www.jeanpaulgaultier.com/brand/fr#page-brand/

This fall, hair was styled to be slicked back in a side parting, accompanied with jewelled embellishment net gaps. The makeup was seen to be big, bright and bold red lips to make the models stand out from the crowd. In my opinion... nothing beats a bit of classic red lippy on any skin colour. The eyes were lined heavily to create a smoky eye look and paired with a flawless complexion. To get this, use a BB cream to even, cover, hydrate, illuminate, and help protect your skin; Garniers Miracle Skin Perfector, all in one BB cream is my fav. £9.99, www.boots.com

Valentino: http://store.valentino.com

To pull off a ballerina styled beauty, Valentino made sure their models were pampered to perfection. With super glossy hair, swept back into a high bun, natural, wispy, loose strands were left to float around the ears, creating that angelic look. They also used the faultless look of dewy skin, lightly contoured eyes and pink stained lips to complete the innocent feel. I would recommend using the the shade 01 pink petal from Max Factor's Lipfinity lip tint pens, which can be purchased at www.maxfactor.com for £6.99 - bargain!

Giorgio Armani Prive: http://www.armani.com/

A beret, a feathered hat or netted veil, embellished with sequins and beads were wore by models at the Giorgio Armani shows this Couture week. Brows were defined by being drawn on, extending them delicately outwards the hair line, whilst pale lips and skin was worn with dramatic metallic smoky eyes, perfecting for the metallic trend this summer. I love Bourjoius Smoky Eyes Eye Shadow with its ultra finely crushed, easy to blend formula, paired in a compact case with the perfect colour partners. £7.99, http://www.boots.com/en/Bourjois-Smoky-Eyes-Eye-Shadow_1015639/

Chanel: www.chanel.com

This fall, Chanel chose to go for a pretty and arresting look, with a pretty pink shaded lip, a gentle rose flush to highlight the model's soft cheek bones. Nails were painted a sparkly silver before a sweet pink was applied in an oval shape over the top. To the eyes, Peter Phillips applied Chanel's Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Furtif and Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Noir Intense to create a modern but smoky eye. Stylo Yeux Waterproof long lasting eyeliner can be bought for £19 at www.chanel.com

Giambattista Valli: http://www.giambattistavalli.com/

Dewy skin and nude lips were seen on the catwalk at Giambattista Valli the fall as well as blue, green and silver glitter around the eyes. The swept back hairstyle was noticeably becoming a trend as the model's here were also seen appearing with this look. But in this case, hair was swept into neat chignons and their entire heads were covered with coloured netting. In some cases, the netting was accompanied by large butterfly accessories, matching the ethereal tone of the collection. To put up a good fight with this fierce look, i love Barry M's Dazzle Dust eye shadow and for £4.59, you cant say no. www.barrym.com
